New doll in the crew
I’ve almost finished my project doll. I bought a Doll-Chateau Dolores head that was missing its headback - one of my favorite sculpts from the company, and of course, long discontinued. After some restoration work, he’s finally part of the crew.

The Dolores head was originally made for a 72 cm body, but it has quite a small neck opening. Since I wanted his proportions to look balanced and not too slim, I decided to modify the neck of a DF-A 68 cm body. It was a bit tricky, but I think I’ve found a compromise - the neck looks not so thin, but the head still fits.

I also made a custom, slightly rough headback.
I'm still deciding on a name (in the past, this character was called Guiyom, so maybe I'll stick with it or change lately), but anyway - he’s now complete: he has own body, a finished head, and a neck that feels right. The neck still needs a bit of sanding, and the mod isn’t perfect, but I’m happy with how it turned out overall.
