About
Hello!
I created this blog to document my doll collection, keep track of my hobby projects, and give my photography a permanent place to be.
I have been collecting ball-jointed dolls since 2011. My collection mostly consists of SD and 70+ cm dolls, although it currently ranges in size from 18 cm to 80 cm. I love older semi-realistic and stylized sculpts, unusual faces, and dolls with a distinctive character.
In 2017, I took a long break from the hobby and packed away my collection due to life changes.
My interest slowly returned in 2022. By then, I had left my home country, moved to another part of Europe, and later settled in Scandinavia. I brought seven of my favorite dolls with me, and a few more joined the collection over the following years.
Inner North
Most of my dolls represent original characters connected to a fictional setting I call Inner North.
Inner North is a small personal hobby project built around my doll collection. It follows a group of characters in a fantasy world loosely inspired by the early Middle Ages and the Viking Age, with a little magic.
Since returning to the hobby, I have continued developing the project through doll photography, character notes, and occasional pieces of lore. I is still just a hobby project and a way to enjoy my collection in most fun and creative way.

Recasts
I deeply respect the work of doll artists and collect only authentic ball-jointed dolls. I do not collect or support recasts.
AI
I do not use generative AI in my creative process. The photography, character concepts, writing, styling, and image editing presented on this blog are my own work.
