'Soft Reboot' 2026 - summary

I've finished sorting things out for my 'soft reboot'. Here's what changed:

1) I've ended up with 25 full dolls: 15 big dolls (from 52 to 80 cm) and 10 small ones (MSD to tiny). My original intent was to reduce the number to 12 big dolls, but 15 also looks fine. I don't want to declutter further.

Plus, one doll has stuck in 'limbo' and I'm not sure about her. (That's Supia Heeji.)

2) Two characters have been reshelled: Erin is now Ringdoll Amy (as was intended), and I'll try to make Miel from Zaoll Luv, Erin's previous shell. So far, it works.

3) Some characters have undergone changes. The most significant change is Aneirin's appearance, as I've changed his head from Hound to Husky. They are really similar, but the Husky head is slightly smaller and I prefer it.

I'm planning to use both heads with matching faceup for him.

The Husky head that I've bought was in pale tan, but in the current situation with Dollshe, we work with what we can get. I don't have an airbrush, so I've struggled with this color matching a lot. The result is admittedly horribly rough, but I still like how Aneirin's new face turned out. I count it as a test version and will redo it after I get an airbrush (it's in my plans).

I've put four full dolls and five heads up for sale; already sold 2 heads (Island Doll Dove, sold; ExMachina, on layaway).
I've redesigned my site a bit and added an RSS feed. That's a nice small touch to the process.

Overall, I'm happy with my refining process. Won't do anything new for a while.
