Morein lived a solitary life deep in the forest. Her past had taught her to keep her distance from crowded settlements and curious eyes. People called her a witch, and she never cared to deny it.

Later, Morein crossed paths with an elf named Alberic and his younger brother. A witch and an elf made an unlikely connection, but in time it grew into something more.

Together they travelled across the land, searching for a place where they might belong. Their road eventually brought them to Alvholm. What was meant to be only a temporary stop slowly became a home, and in the end they found little reason to leave.
